Katie Sours

After a few years of coming to the mat seeking a challenging workout, I rediscovered yoga as a tool for recovery and rejuvenation while training for a half marathon. Following a successful and surprisingly fun race, I knew yoga had truly helped my breathing, calm mind, stamina, and awareness of the beautiful landscapes around me. Magical!

With a background in community health, I value the pursuit of knowledge, human connection, community, and observing what can happen when basic needs are met. Yoga creates a healthy space for all of this.

My teaching style is creative and approachable, with elements of mindfulness and playfulness. I strive to meet students where they are and provide a variety of ways to learn, challenge, and empower oneself. My interests include workout recovery and working with youth through beginning, restorative, aerial, and adaptive yoga.
