Kathy Roberts

I started Yoga in March of 2015, looking for the solution to my chronic back pain and metabolic syndrome issues. Not only did I find the solution to managing my chronic pain, I’ve fallen in love with the practice, theory and philosophy of Yoga. I started with Restorative, moved on to Adaptive and now practice many styles. What I’ve learned is that nothing removes the pain completely all the time, but Yoga helps me positively manage my response to pain and lead a full happy life.

I’ve recently completed the Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Teacher Training Course at 4E Yoga; Now I’m certified in Hatha, Adaptive, Restorative and Aerial styles of Yoga. I have also recently discovered Yin Yoga and this discipline in particular speaks to me. I hope to train in this style in the near future.

In the meantime, I want to help others find their inner happiness and freedom from pain the way I did; one small step at a time. My favorite quote is from The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali; “Yoga is steadiness with ease”. This not only embodies my goal for life, it is the focus of my teaching style.
